Service Description

Marionette line filler is a targeted treatment designed to soften the lines that extend from the corners of the mouth downwards towards the chin. These lines can create a downturned or tired appearance and often develop due to age-related volume loss, reduced collagen, and changes in lower-face support. Treatment aims to restore structure, lift the corners of the mouth, and create a smoother, more balanced lower-face contour. At The Nurse Practitioner Clinic, all dermal filler treatments are performed by an NMC-registered Advanced Nurse Practitioner following UK medical and safety guidelines. What this treatment can improve Downturned corners of the mouth Visible lines running from the mouth to the chin Early jowling caused by reduced volume or support Shadows or heaviness around the lower face Asymmetry or loss of contour How the treatment works Hyaluronic acid dermal filler is precisely injected into areas of reduced support to: Soften marionette lines Subtly elevate the corners of the mouth Restore lower-face structure Reduce shadowing and crease depth Improve facial symmetry and proportions In some cases, the best results are achieved through a combination approach, addressing midface support, chin projection, or jawline structure alongside marionette lines.
