Service Description

Nasolabial line filler is a targeted dermal filler treatment designed to soften the folds that run from the sides of the nose to the corners of the mouth. These lines deepen naturally with age due to volume loss in the cheeks, reduced collagen, and changes in skin elasticity. Treatment aims to restore structure and support while maintaining a natural, balanced appearance. At The Nurse Practitioner Clinic, all filler treatments are performed by an NMC-registered Advanced Nurse Practitioner following UK safety standards and evidence-based practice. What this treatment can improve: Deep or moderate nasolabial folds Creasing caused by age-related volume loss Folds caused by reduced mid-face support Tired or heavy appearance around the lower face Overall facial harmony and balance How the treatment works Hyaluronic acid dermal filler is carefully injected into the nasolabial fold or, where clinically indicated, into the midface to replace lost support and naturally lift the fold. Filler: Restores structural support Softens the fold without over-filling Improves contour and facial proportions Hydrates and smooths the overlying skin Where appropriate, a combination approach (midface + fold) is used for the most natural result. Downtime Minimal: Mild swelling for 24–48 hours Potential small bruises Tenderness at the injection sites Most clients return to normal activities immediately. Pain level: Low. A topical anaesthetic and lidocaine-containing filler are used for comfort. Appointment duration: Approximately 30 minutes. How long results last: Typically 9–12 months, depending on product used, lifestyle factors and individual metabolism. Who is suitable: Adults with deepening nasolabial folds Clients wanting a subtle, natural softening rather than a “filled” look Those experiencing age-related volume loss in the mid-face or lower face A full consultation is required to assess facial structure and determine whether direct fold treatment, midface support, or a combined approach is most appropriate. More than one syringe of filler may be required to achieve the desired result.
